It’s always good to welcome new businesses to Chester-le-Street town centre – and 2022 has seen quite a few so far – but one of the latest arrivals features some faces that will be familiar to many local shoppers!
Opened in June at 56a Front Street (the old Salvation Army shop unit), Phone Repairs CLS is a new business from the team behind Computer Centre, which has operated in the town for the last 16 years.
Having built a very successful business focused on computer sales and support – with over 20,000 repair jobs completed since 2006 – owners Paul and Claire were keen to invest further in their home town, and Phone Repairs CLS is the result.
As the name suggests, services you’ll find instore include same-day phone repairs, as well as a large stock of accessories – such as chargers, ring sockets, cases and screen protectors – and some great deals on phones, tablets and laptops.
Over the years, Claire and Paul have built their reputation on trust, and when you visit Phone Repairs CLS you can be assured of professional, honest, quality service.
As they write in a recent Facebook post: “Customer came in to get a new screen fixed as there was no display on his iPhone 12, we managed to take the screen off intact, disconnect the battery, put it all back together and it’s working fine. Saving the customer having to buy a £110 screen. We have built our reputation on trust and honesty, and will continue to do so”.
Those are the kind of ethics we like to see in a local business, and it’s the quality of customer service that will generate return visits, and the positive word of mouth and reputation that money can’t buy.
